To help advance local technology and to showcase Thunder Bay to the world, TBayIT has undertaken web site initiatives over the years. We have created a Thunder Bay website directory to help drive traffic to local websites, ThunderBayStuff.com for free local classifieds and TBayLife.com to showcase some of our beautiful natural scenery in Northwestern Ontario. As new services, social media and free websites have come up over the years some of these projects have been moved to different platforms or retired.
TBayIT has also developed a web-based communication system called DigitalBoard.ca that is used by various Board of Directors and Committeees across Ontario to share files, calendars and keep in touch. TBayIT provides this system for discounted or free of charge to many non-profit organizations.
To meet the e-marketing needs of our clients, TBayIT has developed a full-featured email management system called MailFile that allows users to manage subscription lists and compile attractive looking electronic newsletters and bulletins. This system is currently used by several businesses to communicate to their clients.
In the age of smartphones, TBayIT has become a leader in iOS development and currently has a handful of Apps available to download in the App Store including an App for the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce, Superior North Community Futures Development Corporate and 211 Ontario North.
