Web Developer/Web Systems Administrator
TBayIT is a fast-growing and dynamic Information Technology company that develops and implements advanced web-based information technology systems.
We are currently seeking an energetic and motivated Web Developer/Web Systems Administrator who will be responsible to assist in the management and operation of web sites using our custom built content management system. As well, the incumbent will be required to become familiar with and provide sales and support for our data management system, contact management system and other custom built information systems that are currently in use at dozens of organizations and businesses throughout the province of Ontario.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development of content and graphics for new web sites
• Administrate and update web sites via our content management system
• Develop and update static web sites using Adobe Dreamweaver
• Assist in the administration of web servers, databases, email and hosting accounts
• Provide quality technical support to our customer base
• Develop instructional documents to assist with technical support
• Assist in sales by meeting with potential clients and developing advertising materials
Qualifications
• University or College Graduate of Information Technology related field
• 1-2 years experience in related field an asset
Technical Skills:
• Excellent knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Experience using Adobe Dreamweaver and graphic editing suites
• Experience administrating Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Microsoft SQL Server (2000/2005) and mySQL
• Knowledge of common web languages including JavaScript, DHTML and XML
• Intermediate skills in graphic design and website development
• Excellent customer relations skills and a strong willingness to learn
• Knowledge of PHP, ASP, ASP.NET an asset
This is a permanent part-time contract position starting February 11th, 2008 with potential for full-time employment by summer. Hourly rate ranges between $15-$20/hour commensurate with education/experience with potential for bonuses and commissions.
