February 3, 2006 - Beware of Viruses!
Today (Friday February 3rd, 2006) is being dubbed as Black Friday for worm threats. Viruses by the names Kama Sutra, Blackworm, Nyxem and MyWife is set to activate February 3 and the third of every month thereafter. If you have overlooked your virus protection you may be extremely sorry as many of your documents, images and system files can be damaged beyond repair from these nasty viruses. These viruses are being spread initially by email with subject lines such as "best video clip ever" and "Hot Movie". Again, a reminder to never open attachments that you are unsure of and to have a regularly renewed virus protection system installed on your computer. Just because these viruses are set to infect systems today does not mean that they will disappear afterwards, there are no available patches to prevent these viruses.

To be sure you are not infected you can download removal tools from Symantec specifically for these viruses:
Symantec Web Site
Latest Virus Threats from Symantec
Free Online Virus Scan from Computer Associates
Free Online Virus Scan from Trend Micro
