February 10, 2010 - Thunder Bay & Google Street View
In February 2010, Google Street View became available in Thunder Bay. This online tool allows users to view a street level photo - just as if you were in the middle of the road taking photos around you. The Street View photos were taken last summer - probably August 2009. To use this feature, visit www.google.ca/maps, zoom to the location that you wish to view the street and drag the "figure" icon from the top left to the street to launch street view.
